Robert Hill & Associates LLC, in their many years of experience in the life safety systems industry, provides assistance to engineers, electrical contractors and alarm installing companies in the design of new as well as retrofit fire alarm and voice evacuation systems. We can assume various responsibilities depending upon the client’s needs from consultations to the device/appliance layout including riser, input/output matrix, as well as load, line loss, battery calculations and technical device/appliance information for permitting, plan review and installation. We are not a licensed engineering company, but we have two licensed fire protection engineers plus a NICET IV certified individual on our staff.

When needed, we are also experienced in bid and submittal review. We work with engineering firms and electrical contractors who feel that their own fire alarm experience and familiarity with the current fire alarm codes may be lacking. The owner, Bob Hill, has over forty years of fire alarm systems experience in system design, installation, testing and maintenance including several years on the NFPA 72, National Fire Alarm Signaling Code Fundamentals Technical Committee.

Robert Hill & Associates LLC can also simply be a place where one can discuss any problems they are experiencing. Problems with installation, maintenance or even with presenting a submittal package for a plan review and permitting. We’re here to be of service in any way that we can.
