WHAT IS FASI?
Fire Alarm Systems Institute, LLC (FASI) is an organization, sponsored by Cintas Fire Protection and others, established primarily to train first responder firefighters in their interface with fire alarm control units (FACU). The program, created by five dedicated fire safety individuals who collectively have extensive experience in firefighter procedures, fire response operations and fire alarm systems and their components.
FASI TRAINING SEMINAR
Currently FASI, LLC is offering a three-hour training seminar to first responder firefighters on how the FACU can help them in performing their duties, and what they should and should not do at the FACU in response to the information gained. Some important safety issues are also presented and discussed.
Training is offered either at Cintas Fire Protection’s ultra-modern, fully equipped training facility in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, or at another agreed upon location. Although the Cintas facility has FACUs for many manufacturers, FASI does have portable training boards with FACUs for hands-on training by the firefighters.
